It’s sad how lives are ruined by not only drugs, but alcohol too. I have never been reliant on alcohol and have never even tested drugs. I chose a different path than many people, and I am proud to say I love my life. Yes it gets difficult at times, but that’s life and I have to suck it up and move on. If i hid behind drugs and alcohol the last 11 years I can tell you I’d still be on the streets, …but it would have been my own fault at that point. I surround myself with great people that influence me to do better and keep going, not those who will hinder my life and cause unecessary drama and stress.
Pretty much what I am saying is that YOU have control of your life, YOU make the decisions; so I pity the people who feel they need those substances to be “happy”, open your eyes life is a great experience that your missing. I don’t feel sorry for what your going through because YOU can change it. We’ve all had rough times but it passes and we learn from them!!!
